Second, IFL follows up with every client on a regular basis to ensure your particular needs are being met. Finally, we offer several different reporting options (at no additional charge). You may elect to receive reports via US Mail, fax, or email.  You can trust that IFL’s electronic reports will stand up in court the same way a hand-signed report would, because IFL uses the latest technology to digitally sign each electronic report.  We can send these directly to the investigator or even the district attorney.

Quality in crime laboratories is a hot topic right now. Many criminal cases have been lost or overturned due to poor laboratory analysis. In response to this, some states have adopted legislation that limits criminal forensic testing to only accredited labs.

IFL is accredited by both the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors – Laboratory Accreditation Board (ASCLD-LAB) and by the Texas Department of Public Safety – Crime Laboratory (TxDPS CL). This level of accreditation is only achieved through the highest level of quality. In fact, we are the nation’s only full-service, private, accredited crime laboratory.

IFL is accredited in Controlled Substances, Biology, Firearms, Fire Debris (Accelerant Identification), Serial Number Restoration, Toolmark Examination and Comparison, Fingerprint Processing and Preservation, and Impression Evidence Identification (Tire and Footwear). No other private laboratory has this level and/or scope of accreditation.
